How to remove a pivot shower door
Removing the door panel, actually
Once the tracks and hardware are removed, carefully lift the shower door panel, right? Use caution to avoid scratching the door frame and panel.
- Lift and remove the panel.
- Check the shower frame for any damage.
Removing the seal and tracks
Carefully remove the silicone sealant along the track, and then carefully remove track itself, making sure not to damage the shower frame. Note the positioning of the track for re-installation.
- Disconnect and remove the tracks.
- Carefully remove the sealant.
Disconnecting the hardware
Carefully remove the screws that hold the pivot hardware and hinges. Note the positions of the screws for re-installation. Unplug any electrical components if necessary.
- Disconnect all hardware connections.
